I can't believe I'm posting this, here is a classic 2-year-old photo...we were getting ready to go to the store and Grace went to put her shoes on. She was struggling and started throwing her shoes and saying that she "doesn't like her stinking darnit shoes." I happened to be putting my camera in the purse and shot a quick pic to document...which is not the brightest parenting move either, but it was so funny. After I took the picture I explained that we don't say words like that and if we need help just ask, etc. I tell you sometimes I can't help but laugh even when I'm supposed to exhibit better self control and use these situations as "teachable" moments.

ReplyDeleteWhat's so funny about the whole situation is I really don't know where she got the stinkin' darnit from...probably me, but not strung together like that! She tried to use the 2 "worst" words that she knows I'm thinking!
