Grace's first dance recital took place yesterday! It was so much fun to watch the girls perform on stage in front of a huge audience! Above is Grace in her ballet costume, they danced to "Rainbow Connection."
The 3-year-old class getting ready to go onstage. I was really proud of the class in general, they all danced and there were no tears, falls, etc. The audience didn't really faze them which is not the norm for this age group!

Their tap routine stole the show, they did this one first and they really had the routine down!We forked over the big bucks for the professional DVD to share with family, and I'll try to post their routines if I can figure it out. The DVD will be arriving in mid-July.
And now we break for summer! I think we'll probably do dance again next year, we had a really good experience. Over the summer Grace is going to try gymnastics, but her dance class does tumbling as well, so we kind of get the best of both worlds by doing dance!
