Grace's Dance Recital

We had Grace's dance recital this past Saturday at Missouri Baptist University. The girls did so well, it's so fun to watch them up on stage performing. The shows are packed, I think roughly 500 people attend and they have shows all week, the little girls just perform in one show fortunately! Above is Grace in her full makeup and curls. We have to do mascara, eyeshadow, red lipstick, and blush...not fun to apply!
Some of the girls from Grace's class in their ballet costume, they danced to "Babyface."

For the tap routine, the girls did "Animal Crackers", the Shirley Temple version. Super cute, Grace hated her costume, she was a puppy. I thought it was cute! She's pictured with her buddy Lauren, they were the 2 puppies in the performance.

Here is a picture of a few of the girls from the class in their Animal Cracker costumes. There are 11 girls total in the class, and they were a mix of puppies, ladybugs, tigers and mice. Definitely a unique mix, eh?

It was a fabulous night, the girls had fun and now we take a break from dance for the summer!
