It's Sweet to be One!

On July 3rd, we celebrated Anna's 1st Birthday with close friends and family at our house. The theme was "It's Sweet to be One," and we had pink and purple cupcake decor. We've definitely embraced femininity at the Casa de Wegenke.

The birthday girl couldn't have been any cuter! I'm not sure what's up with the face here, but she makes silly faces quite frequently these days. I absolutely adore the outfit I picked out on Etsy.com. Anna crawled all around her birthday party and that tutu was simply precious, framing her little booty as she scooted along! I wish I had taken a picture of her crawling, shoot!

Our little cupcake was a little unsure of the singing and cupcake with a candle on it. She was tentative with that cupcake for at least a few seconds...

And then she realized how yummy the cupcake was, and opted get her face into it!

Anna laughed and laughed as she ate her cupcake and put her face into the frosting. She had frosting up her nose, but had a blast! It was a very special birthday party for our sweet little Anna!
