Gracie was so excited when she saw her Easter basket this morning. I put a couple pairs of dress up shoes in, which she immediately wanted to put on and wear instead of her pretty white sandals to church (I won that battle).

Before church, we tried to do take a few pictures outside, but it was cold and Grace didn't want to put her baby down. Isn't she a cutie?

Here is a photo without her doll!

Awww....what a cute family! :) We went to church and heard an incredible sermon, then had Easter brunch at church and headed home to get ready for...

The Cardinals game!!! We decided on a whim to go to the Cardinals game in the afternoon, they were playing the Astros. It was Grace's first baseball game, and she had so much fun! We walked up and a wonderful lady approached us with 2 free tickets because she couldn't attend the game! So we waited in line to buy 2 more, and another gentleman approached us with 2 additional free tickets because he was advertising for his business. Can you believe we got 4 free lower level tickets (appx. $200 face value)? Nana Jan, Grace and I sat on the first baseline toward right field just 12 rows back. David and Lee sat on the 3rd baseline about 20 rows up. Incredible seats and a great day to take in a ballgame! And our team won! :) We headed home in the late afternoon and finished out our Easter with a ham dinner.
What a great Easter!
wow 4 free tickets that's awesome.
