It's Pumpkin carving day in the Wegenke household! David happens to be a master carver (or at least he's done this a few times, believe it or not I have NEVER carved a pumpkin), and as it turns out I am rather skilled at cleaning out the inside of the pumpkin. Just leave to dirty work to me!
We were pleased with the finished product, Grace wanted a happy pumpkin. I roasted the pumpkin seeds later in the afternoon and they are quite yummy!
WHATT!!?? are you serious? you have NEVER carved a pumpkin? your parents never bought you a pumpkin to carve? I seriously have a hard time believeing that that is crazy.
ReplyDeleteI was pretty deprived...just kidding. If we ever did carve pumpkins it didn't make much of an impact on me I guess...my folks weren't big Halloween people!
