We had a busy Halloween day in our neighborhood. It all began with a neighborhood parade in the early afternoon. Grace is pictured above with her buddy Sophia awaiting the start of the parade!

Our favorite "big girls" in the hood, Logan and Jillian dressed up as Eskimos.

And the parade begins...we weren't sure what to expect, but basically everyone runs down the street! Logan was sweet enough to walk with Grace. The parade ended near our house with a special show by Sid the Science Guy. It was a neat show actually, he did interactive experiments, lit things on fire, etc. He kept the kiddos attention!

TROUBLE! We have a bonfire at the end of the cul-de-sac after trick or treating, but the fellas decided to start things off early with a BBQ. If you grill it, they will come was their mantra!

Trick or Treat time! Gracie hooked up with Sophia and they rode in a wagon together to trick or treat. They were so adorable!

I got a kick out of this neighbor, he set up a microphone and had the kids sing in order to get candy. Grace opted for the ever popular "Happy Birthday." We completed the night with a bonfire on the cul-de-sac. Grace informed me around 9 that she was tired, so we left, but everyone else was outside until late! :)
All in all it was a fun and action packed Halloween!
I want to live in your neighborhood!!! How fun!
ReplyDeletesounds like an awesome neighborhood. we were talking about how much fun it would be if our neighborhood did what yours did. cute!
