Christmas Pictures

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day right here in St. Louis. We spent Christmas Eve at Gramma and Papa's house. Grace had was in St. John's Christmas Eve program at the family service. They sang their little hearts out to "Go Tell it on the Mountain."
Following the service, we came back to Gramma and Papa's house and had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner. Next came our riveting production of the Nativity Story as told in Luke (performed by the Wold boys and Wegenke family) and lastly we opened presents. The family picture above is not so great, but I wanted at least one family shot of us!

Christmas Day came quickly and Grace and Anna ran down (well, Grace ran) the stairs to open their stockings and presents from David and I. We had a really nice time as a family that morning and I am so glad that I saved our gits for Christmas Day. We typically open all presents Christmas Eve and then do stockings Christmas morning. This could be a new tradition for us!
Anna with her Moose on her very first Christmas! She was actually a fun participant, she kicked her feet out and smiled (of course none of this was captured by my camera) as she tore paper and saw what was inside.
We wrapped up Christmas Day over at my folks with a nice meal. Grace, Uncle Jeremy and Uncle Christian also went sledding and built a snowman. I didn't take pictures but we had a beautiful White Christmas here in St. Louis. How cool is Anna's "Uff Da" hat?
