Day 266

As I mentioned a month or so ago, we gave Grace a bike for her birthday. She rode it for a day or two and then became petrified of the darn thing. Seriously, she refused to ride her bike and decided that she liked her tricycle much better. This past week something clicked with her and now she LOVES her new bike. We've taken a bike ride together every day this week...both of us, I follow her on my bike, which is really pretty comical to watch! :) Anyway, on our bike ride today, Grace stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, pulled out her notebook that she keeps in her special pouch up front and started writing a note to Nana Jan (it is her birthday after all) and then she wrote another note to Papa. I get such a kick out of this kiddo!
