Today the Thrivent Leadership Conference ended, and we headed to Disneyland!
Papa & Dama joined us as well...it was so fun to have them be a part of Gracie's first Disneyland trip! (Thanks again to
Jill for making Grace this adorable Minnie Mouse shirt, she also made a white one in case we had an accident or spill...to cute!)
Grace's first ride was the Peter Pan ride, she wanted to go with Papa & Dama...all seemed well until the end and I guess she burst into tears! So Papa whisked her off to the Dumbo ride immediately after Peter Pan.
After Dumbo, it was Carousel time...I think this was her favorite ride by judging by the thumbs up!
We were so thrilled to meet 3 Disney princesses! We waited in line for around an hour, but were able to meet and greet Cinderella, Princess Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty) and Snow White. Grace wouldn't let Dama put her down, but she seemed to enjoy talking to the princesses. She had a great conversation with Sleeping Beauty about her baby dolls at home.
All in all, we rode 5 rides total (Peter Pan, Dumbo, Carousel, and It's a Small World twice) and then we saw Micky Mouse (from afar), Minnie Mouse (which didn't go over too well), Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty & Snow White. She was able to get some autographs and then Dama bought her this baby Micky doll that she picked out all by herself. It was a really fun day, but I think it was a little much for a 2 1/2 year old to digest! We'll try again when she's older!

Oh how cute!! Looks like she had a great time! It was a bit too much for Liam to digest, our week at Disney World, but still fun. The boys picked out that same baby Mickey toy to give to "baby Elijah"! :) Isaiah had to be sure to include him as much as he could this week, making things for him in Epcot, etc. So fun!
