This year we made a birthday cake for Jesus, since it's HIS birthday after all! Grace and Grandma made it together, and Grace had a part in the whole process. We ate the birthday cake as part of our Christmas Eve dinner dessert. Definitely a new tradition we will continue to do!
Grace made out pretty well! There are definitely some perks to being the only grandchild...sheesh!
Grandma made Gracie a nightgown and robe, then she also received a new "big girl" doll and Grandma made a matching nightgown for the doll. Too cute!Truthfully, on Christmas Day we caught a flight home in the late morning, so most of our Christmas Day was spent in the friendly skies! :) I know it sounds kind of like a downer, but it truly is really easy to travel on Christmas, and since our family is such a Christmas Eve family, it really works out well!
